All-embracing interiors for an expansive mountain retreat was the directive for Soapstone. Our goal was to modernize the furnishings, lighting, and interiors throughout while keeping the original architectural timbers and stonework as the focal points. In this way, we were able to transform the home into a winter retreat where families and friends could gather in the mountains and enjoy time together in what some have described as an inviting “castle in clouds.”
